In this role, you will provide technical application leadership for assigned applications, including involvement with high-level functional issues, application design/integration, and the architecture of solutions in response to business and operational requirements. As a Senior Application Specialist, you will also serve as a technical liaison and mentor for Applications team, facilitate/lead technical discussions and/or presentations and develop internal best practices for application design.

Position: Senior Application Specialist

Experience: 
1. More than six (6) years recent healthcare information systems experience. Demonstrated in depth knowledge of application software, application integration and ability to leverage application knowledge and tools to meet operational needs of organization.
2. Large scale healthcare systems planning and implementation experience on application software products used at Main Line Health is preferred.
3. Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform duties of the job is required. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
4. Strong organizational, planning and project management skills required.

Education:
Bachelor Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or application related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
