Position: Patient Safety & Risk Manager
Shift: Days
Experience:
1. Minimum of three years healthcare experience in an acute care hospital required.
2. Minimum of three years Risk Management experience in a healthcare setting preferred.
3. Education and /or teaching experience optimal.
4. Familiarity with and ability to work with databases, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, communication, and internet applications required.
5. Knowledge of all phases of patient care, hospital policies, procedures and healthcare laws generally acquired through education and/or experience.
6. Familiarity with The Joint Commission standards and DOH, COPs, OSHA Regulations.
Education:
1. Bachelors’ degree in a healthcare-related field required.
Licensures/Certifications:
1. RN License Required.
2. Certification in Healthcare Risk Management preferred.
3. Certification in Patient Safety preferred.
