Assistant Hardware Store Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Store Manager, you will assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations and ensuring exceptional customer service. Responsibilities:
- Assist the Store Manager in managing the store's daily operations
- Supervise and train store staff to provide excellent customer service
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering merchandise
- Assist in creating and implementing strategies to increase sales and meet targets
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations in a professional manner
- Conduct regular store audits to ensure visual merchandising standards are met
- Assist in scheduling and managing employee shifts
- Perform administrative tasks such as payroll processing and record keeping

Skills:
- Strong retail math skills for handling cash transactions, calculating discounts, etc.
- Excellent shift management abilities to ensure smooth store operations
- Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Multilingual proficiency to assist diverse customers
- Proven experience in retail sales and achieving sales targets
- Strong administrative skills for handling paperwork, reports, etc.
- Knowledge of wireless sales is a plus
- Ability to supervise and motivate a team of employees
- Organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy and store cleanliness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
