Warehouse driver

Maine Beer Company is dedicated to producing the best beer possible. We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic to join our warehouse team and assist in daily warehouse operations.

First and foremost, the candidate must have a positive attitude and work well with others. This position is full time, typically 40 hours per week, and based in Westbrook, Maine.

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Work with the Warehouse Manager to ensure that high quality standards are met in all warehouse operations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment and follow safe work practices.
• Adhere to Maine Beer Company's warehouse SOPs to complete daily responsibilities.
• Transport raw materials and finished product in company box trucks (Class B CDL required) between the Westbrook warehouse and the brewery in Freeport.
• Assemble and ship weekly orders for distributors in accordance with SOPs.
• Safely load pallets onto trucks for delivery to distributors.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks and maintenance checks of warehouse facilities and equipment as assigned.
• Follow FIFO method for all finished product shipments and raw materials.
• Perform physical inventory counts as assigned.
• Class B CDL with air brake endorsement preferred.
• A positive and respectful attitude with a willingness to help co-workers.
• Ability to multi-task while working safely and efficiently.
• Ability to work with little to no supervision at times.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.
• An individual that takes initiative, is proactive and is self-motivated.
• Great attention to detail.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus, as is familiarity with MacOS, Google Docs, Slack, etc.
• Electric pallet jack / forklift experience is a plus but willing to train the right individual.
• Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs to waist height, and 25 lbs to shoulder height repetitively.
