Recruiter

Are you looking for a career with purpose? Maine Veterans’ Homes is seeking a Recruiter with the drive to understand talent and connect candidate’s skills to meaningful work. You will use your strong communication, organizational and technology skills to drive all aspects of recruitment and provide exceptional customer service to our candidates and internal clients.

Reporting to Maine Veterans’ Homes Senior Recruiter, primary responsibilities include:

• Assist in developing and executing recruitment strategies to attract, screen, and hire quality healthcare and ancillary service professionals
• Post job openings on company career site and other relevant job boards and social media sites
• Work within an applicant tracking system (ATS) to update candidate’s progression through the hiring process
• Assist in marketing, advertising, and outreach recruitment initiatives
• Identify recruitment sources and work with external partners to build a pipeline of in-demand candidates
• Collaborate with hiring leaders to facilitate the hiring of top-quality candidates
• Research and participate in conferences/webinars, job fairs, and other recruitment events
