Insurance Representative - Pre-Arrival

We are currently looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented professional to join our expanding team of Insurance Representatives - Pre-Arrival.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Determine and verify insurance coverage and coordination of benefits from all sources.
  • Confirm insurance coverage and procedures, identifying the need for pre-authorization and obtaining necessary approvals for scheduled procedures.
  • Enter patient insurance, authorization, and order / RX information into the patient record, documenting insurance coverage of services to be provided.
  • Notify patients / payers of their financial responsibility for services and communicate any unauthorized services to patients and practitioners.
  • Engage in proactive communication with patients, practitioners, and payers regarding financial responsibility and financial clearance issues.

Qualifications :

  • Previous medical office or hospital clerical experience.
  • Extensive background in customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Working knowledge of insurance verification, pre-authorization, and medical necessity.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
