For a limited time MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign on bonus for all eligible experienced Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
- Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
- Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Team Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
This position is based in our Saco, Maine office. This 24 hour per week position is normally scheduled 3 shifts per week, 8AM - 5PM. This position has weekend coverage responsibility.
Position Summary
The telehealth monitoring RN applies clinical assessment knowledge and skill along with telehealth expertise to provide remote monitoring of patient vital signs and other medical measures. This position serves as a resource to colleagues regarding the use of telehealth intervention in the treatment plan for high risk patients. The Telehealth RN promotes evidence-based care and interventions that enhance the overall care plan and is aimed at preventing emergent care and re-hospitalization. This position should be “field ready” to provide home visits when required. Position reports to the Telehealth Program Coordinator
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Graduate of an NLN accredited nursing program.
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy. Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers.
- Experience: Position requires a minimum of one year of acute nursing experience. Prior Home Care or Cardiac experience is preferred.
