Position Summary
MaineHealth Care at Home is currently seeking a per-diem Intake Registered Nurse to serve as a resource to patients throughout Cumberland County, ME.
The Clinical Resource RN receives and coordinates requests for service from referral sources to provide an effective and efficient linkage between MaineHealth Care at Home and other health care providers and payers. Serves as a resource regarding community service information. Collaborates with clinical staff, scheduling and payers to ensure appropriate utilization of services and excellent customer service for all patients. This position reports to the Intake Manager.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Three to five years of progressive health care experience. One year of home care experience preferable. OR Associate’s degree in nursing with appropriate experience.
- License/Certifications: State of Maine licensure as a Registered Nurse. Current, valid driver’s license to operate a motor vehicle, with vehicle available for work covered by liability insurance as specified by agency policy.
