Position Summary

The Clinical Scheduling Assistant is responsible for supporting efficient workflow and communications for the clinical teams. Schedules patient visits, including day to day patient scheduling for multiple disciplines. Communicates with patients, both taking and placing calls, as necessary and assigned by clinical leadership. This position reports to the Clinical Director.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

Education: Business or secretarial school graduate with at least one-year experience, or a graduate of a specific program for medical secretary or assistant. Minimum of one year of experience in a clerical support position, preferably in health care. OR, GED or other high school diploma equivalent preferred with more than 1 year of proven work experience in the health care field as a support staff person.
