Are you ready to launch your career in Hot Tub and water care services? Mainely Tubs, New England’s leading hot tub dealership, is looking for motivated, customer-service oriented individuals to join our amazing team of water care and service technicians. We provide all the training! We also provide you with a Company vehicle, and on most days you will be dispatched directly from your home to your first customer. Work orders will be assigned and updated through a company provided iPhone, using the latest software in our industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Water Chemistry Mastery: Service and maintain water chemistry in hot tubs and swim spas at customer locations, ensuring optimal performance.
- Customer Connection: Communicate with customers in a friendly and professional manner, discussing additional services and providing pricing.
- Contract Caretaker: Provide water care service to our maintenance contract customers at their homes, ensuring their aquatic havens remain a source of relaxation.
- Educate and Elevate: Educate customers on proper water care practices. Share your knowledge and passion for aquatic wellness.
- Winterization Specialist: Execute winterization processes to safeguard hot tubs and spas during colder months, ensuring year-round customer satisfaction.
- Customer-Focused Attitude: You’re not just a technician; you’re an ambassador of relaxation. Approach every customer interaction with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
Requirements
- Mechanical Aptitude: Technical proficiency with carpentry, plumbing, and electrical experience is desirable, particularly for Mid-Level Technician applicants.
- Road-Ready: Possess a clean driving record and a valid driver’s license to ensure safe transportation of equipment.
- Strength and Stamina: Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs, loading and unloading from the company vehicle to hot tubs, sometimes covering distance on foot.
- Weather-Ready: From sunny days to snowy landscapes, work comfortably independently in all weather and climate conditions to ensure our customers’ aquatic experiences are consistently exceptional.
Hours/Schedule:
- 40-hour work week with core hours 8am – 5pm (preferably with flexibility to work extended hours as needed).
- Scheduled, rotated Saturday coverage 9:00a-2:00p (3-6x/per year).
- Overtime available depending on the time of year.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $20-$22 (Entry-Level); $22-$24/per hour for candidates with some technical experience.
- Company-provided vehicle—on most days, Technician will be dispatched from home.
