Mains’l is seeking a Job Developer to work as an engaging professional to connect and partner with our local business community, promoting and placing individuals in meaningful employment.
What is the role of a Job Developer?
As a Job Developer, you will engage with businesses, contractors, and other businesses in the community to build stronger partnerships. The aim is to increase apprenticeship placements for program interns and create avenues to integrate employer insights and ensuing intern alignment for job opportunities.
You will also be responsible for overseeing, training, coaching, and mentoring job coaches using person-centered practices while following Mains’l Mission, Vision, and Values. The Job Developer makes a positive difference in the lives of others as they partner with their teams, stakeholders, and people they support to reach their goals.
Pay rate: $21.00 per hour ($22.00 after 6 months and completion of new hire training). This position is full-time 40 hours a week.
Schedule: typically Monday – Friday 9 am-5 pm, possibly some evenings or weekends.

Patience in coaching new skills to staff with limited experience
Computer skills in Zoom and Microsoft Office.
The experience working with people with disabilities.
Position responsibilities:
Continuously develop a team of employees who provide coaching to people participating in PREP Academy and the Paid Internship Program (PIP); securing paid Community Integrated Employment after completing the internship.
Directly manage a caseload of individuals participating in the CIP and PREP Academy.
Collaborate and partner with delegates from underserved communities to work past barriers to create an inclusive environment.
Complete assessments and training reports to support individuals in finding their best fit for an internship or obtaining job skills.
Engage in community outreach to develop professional relationships for collaborative work in the community, creating inclusive opportunities.
Track financial health through monthly financial reports.
Track service authorizations and communicate with the regional center as needed to maintain the flow of services.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Previous Managerial experience preferred.
Ability to pass a background check through the Department of Justice (DOJ).
Safe and reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
Ability to pass a driving record check.
TB (Tuberculosis) Skin Test.

Pay Scale: Starting rate: $21.00 per hour ($22.00 after 90 days and completion of new hire training). Maximum Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour based on years of experience at Mains'l.
