What a typical day as an Aerial Lineman might look like:
- Working daily to learn a complete understanding of the standards, materials, techniques, and equipment used in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic OSP/ISP facilities
- Operating vehicles and aerial lift equipment using proper safety equipment once trained while following all safety and traffic regulations
- Installing equipment and dressing poles to customer specifications using assorted hand and power tool
- Assisting Construction crew with successful completion of assigned projects
This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
- HSD, or equivalent education, is required
- Lineman Training Certification, preferred
- Six months of related experience and/or combination of experience with technical certification/degree.
- Ability to work outside in changing weather conditions
- OSHA-10 Certification and/or CDL Licenses, preferred
