Description
The Citrix Administrator is responsible for the design, implementation, administration, support of our Citrix environment , ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and applications. You will play a key role in maintaining a secure and efficient working environment for our employees. Ideal candidates will possess leadership qualities for future growth opportunities.
Specific Job Functions:
- Administration: Manage and maintain the Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, including server infrastructure, published applications, and virtual desktops.
- Deployment: Design, implement, and manage the deployment of Citrix infrastructure components, including NetScaler, Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, and Provisioning Services.
- Troubleshooting: Monitor the Citrix environment, proactively identify and resolve performance issues, and troubleshoot user-reported problems.
- Security: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the Citrix environment from unauthorized access and data breaches.
- Upgrades: Plan and execute upgrades of Citrix software and components to ensure the environment remains current and secure.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for the Citrix environment, including configurations, troubleshooting guides, and user manuals.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration of Citrix with other systems and applications.
Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or the equivalent of training, education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience administering and supporting Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop environments.
- Proven experience with Citrix NetScaler, StoreFront, and Provisioning Services.
- Experience with Windows Server administration, Group Policy, and Active Directory.
- Experience with scripting (PowerShell or similar) is a plus.
- Experience with virtual environments (e.g. Nutanix, VMWare, etc.)
- Prior experience working in a regulated environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong customer service-orientation toward bank staff.
- Detail-oriented.
- Possesses positive, can do attitude.

Working Conditions:
- Work is performed in a normal office environment, with hybrid work options available, upon a satisfactory 90 day review.
