What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Associate position at Mainstreet Bank?
Description
This position will be part of a passionate marketing team that is in the early stages of growth within a well established financial institution. The right person will be involved in cutting edge marketing initiatives, creative campaigns and innovation testing within various Martech channels and high profile media outlets (major league/national sports outlets etc.). This role will have various project marketing management responsibilities and will play a major role in the development of content and messaging. The listed job duties have some flexibility depending on the candidate’s overall skill set.
Specific job duties include:
- Manage outside agencies in the development of creative assets and content.
- Manage Social Media and content calendar
- Closely work with VP of Customer Experience, SVP / Chief Marketing Officer and company managers to strategize marketing and advertising programs with a focus on copy and theme.
- Develop copy for evergreen brand messaging and thematic campaigns across various marketing channels to include display, radio, TV, print and social media.
- Manage relevant relationships within the organization as well as outside vendors.
- Develop evergreen copy for core brand value.
- Develop campaign copy to uniquely position the organization within a highly competitive environment.
- Media management experience is a plus.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with limited professional experience or 5 years of relevant marketing experience.
- Adapts easily to a changing environment.
- Manages multiple tasks/projects simultaneously.
- Developing and maintaining trusting, respectful, collaborative relationships.
- A positive attitude with the ability to think creatively, take ownership and a willingness to learn and grow.
- Strong computer skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with various forms of social media.
- Knowledge and understanding of the banking industry is preferred.
