Apartment Maintenance Techneeded full-time for an apartment community located in Center Line, MI. The candidate must have knowledge in all aspects of maintenance including: electrical and plumbing, general pool maintenance, HVAC units, carpentry, trim, and some snow removal when needed. Looking for a Maintenance Tech that can do everything needed on site.
This position will deal with on-call emergencies. Under the direct supervision of the Apartment Manager the Maintenance Technician ensures that work orders are completed, grounds are kept, and vacant units are completed before leasing. Projects may include plumbing, electric work, hardware installations, and repairs for vacant and occupied residential units.
Job Requirements:
2 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician at a residential property with multi-unit, multi building experience or in a similar capacity at another industryA High School Diploma or equivalent
HVAC certification is a plusPlumbing, Electrical experience, with certifications highly preferred
Ability to understand and explain to others complex levels of instructions verbally or in written form
Ability to communicate efficiently and effectively with internal and external contacts
Ability to multi-task and excellent organizational skills
Ability to pass a criminal and/or credit background check
A current Driver's License and the ability to be insurable.
