What are the responsibilities and job description for the Translator (Part Time) position at Maisi Tech Ltd?
Maisi Tech Ltd is looking for an outgoing, experienced Bilingual (English/Spanish) translator to join our team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reading the original document and translating it
- Editing translated versions
- Management of time to complete documents
- Working with people from different cultural backgrounds and industries
- Being sensitive to the culture of the original languages and the target languages during the translation process
- Perform other jobs as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen, Native proficiency required.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, fluency in writing in source and target languages is required
- Proficiency in some computer software applications such as Word, Adobe and communication technology tools such as Zoom, Teams, and similar platforms
- Familiar with Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to self-direct, take initiative, and work independently, while also being able to work as part of a team when assigned to do so
- Flexible and ability to adapt to learning new ideas and concepts
- Access to a cell phone or computer with internet connectivity and willing to use it for job
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
