What are the responsibilities and job description for the Content Manager position at Maisonette?

What We Need

We are looking for a full-time content manager to join our growing content team. In this role, you will develop content strategy to support short and long-term marketing and brand goals, manage the CMS of the blog and weekly refreshes, and use content management systems to analyze traffic, engagement and other KPIs. You will optimize content according to SEO, working with both content team and SEO agency to create SEO-driven content, as well as optimize existing content library. Must be highly organized, methodical, data-driven, able to work both independently and as part of a team.

What You'll Do

  • Develop content strategy to support short and long-term marketing and brand goals 

  • Manage CMS; work with writers and creative team to build stories, input copy, SEO-friendly heds, deks, meta data and key words

  • Manage Le Scoop line-up in google docs and Asana 

  • Manage Le Scoop landing page and homepage refresh weekly 

  • Create weekly and monthly content reports, using content management dashboard to track KPIs 

  • Optimize content according to SEO, working with writers and SEO agency

About You

  • You are highly organized, detail-oriented and methodical

  • You love data, and using data to inform decision-making

  • You din’t give up, you are a problem-solver

  • You possess a can-do attitude, are positive and upbeat, respectful and empathetic

Necessary Background

  • 3 years content 

  • 3 years SEO experience 

  • Organized, meticulous, and detail-oriented

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Proficient content management: Asana, CMS, dashboards etc.
