Majestic Inn and Spa is looking for an experienced Hotel Sales Manager. This historic property is ideal for hosting a wedding or toast to a corporate team's success at year-end. The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organized individual who deeply understands prospecting and develops strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategies to drive business in new and existing markets.
Lead efforts to market key accounts' potential for the hotel regarding room nights and event bookings.
Develop business through proactive direct sales, emails, appointment calls, and hotel tours.
Create cohesive sales strategies, then set goals and determine action plans to meet those goals.
Ensure guest room rates, meeting room rental, function space, and hotel services are approved within budget.
Produce sales contracts, rate agreements, and banquet/event orders.
Handle inquiry calls and provide client proposals, achieving the best results for the hotel.
Work closely with Revenue Management to negotiate the best rate for the hotel's goals and occupancy.
Works with other department heads to facilitate events and coordinate activities.
Follows up with Key accounts during and after departure to ensure satisfaction and secure future bookings.
Serves as the hotel public relations and marketing team for travel, tourism, corporate travel professionals, industry associations, and events to promote and drive business.
Mentor hotel employees as part of the leadership team to help them achieve individual & team objectives.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Hotel Management preferred
3 years' of sales experience required
3 - 5 years experience in Hospitality required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to strike up a conversation with anyone.
Knowledge and understanding of room-blocking, RFPs, and Contracts.
Compensation
The base salary and bonus mix is based on sales measured against goals.
