This position is for a full time office manager for a Fine Dining restaurant on the Upper East Side. This is a dynamic position that will allow you to gain experience in multiple areas of the business administration.
Qualifications

Strong leadership and communications skills
2 years’ experience as an Office Manager in a high-volume restaurant, hotel, or retail environment
Fine dining experience is a plus
Knowledge of Microsoft Office- Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Knowledge of Micros, Triple Seat, Open Table
Bookkeeping/accounting experience
Responsibilities
Able to work independently with minimal direct supervision
Organized and detail oriented
Able to handle last minute changes
Ensures that employees follow company policies and procedures
Corresponds with guests to answer special requests or questions regarding the restaurant
Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures; preparing payroll; controlling correspondence; managing filing systems; reviewing and approving supply requisitions; assigning and monitoring clerical functions
Reconcile end of day POS reports, reconcile cash, prepare deposits and summarize guest receipts
Prepare tip reconciliations in excel on daily basis as part of weekly payroll processing
Daily Missed Punch Audit
Weekly processing of all payroll
Distribute pay checks
New Hire Onboarding and Orientation
Recruitment of new staff
Manage Reservations in the morning
Micros Programming
FOH Supply ordering
BOH Supply ordering
Address HR Issues on site
Represent company in meetings with Labor Union
Weekly Overtime/Labor Cost Analysis
Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services
Maintain updated employee and vendor files
Manages office policies by establishing and maintaining standards and procedures; measuring results against standards; making necessary adjustments
Maintains office efficiency by planning and implementing office systems, layouts, and equipment procurement
Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Salary : $80,000 - $90,000
