Sandwich Maker

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Sandwich Maker to join our team at a Māla Market . As a Sandwich Maker, you will be responsible for preparing delicious sandwiches and providing excellent customer service. This is a fast-paced role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a kitchen environment.

Duties:

- Prepare sandwiches according to customer specifications and established recipes

- Ensure all ingredients are fresh and of high quality

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sandwich station

- Operate cash register and handle customer transactions accurately

- Provide friendly and efficient customer service

- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines

- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in food service or a similar role is preferred

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact professionally with customers

- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions

- Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills

- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays

Additional Skills (Preferred):

- Culinary training or education

- Sales experience in a restaurant setting

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
