Vice President of Exterior Services
Strong business acumen with good understanding of field operation related to lawn, snow, and landscape services. You would also have great leadership abilities to inspire your team and drive efficiency and profitability.
Position would be based out to Farmington Hills, MI. Would need to be open to relocation.
Responsibilities Include:
- Customers:
- Coordinating and work with Associate Director to manager client services
- Meeting client expectations
- Contract review and understanding of commitments.
- Problem resolution and timely execution
- Work to ensure consistent and concise communication with our clients.
- Performance & Quality:
- Working with Operations Management and Accounting team to accurately track department performance.
- Review quality performance and efficiencies
- Sales:
- Forecast and budget new sales goals for your department.
- Working with the VP of Sales to ensure new sales goals are met or exceeded.
- Ensure and review accuracy in estimating.
- Operations:
- Developing annual goals and budgets
- Plan and perform contract obligations.
- Ensuring proper use and care of all department assets
- Field Team:
- Identifying staffing needs and ensuring completion of proper paperwork for changes and hires
- Guiding the training and development of team members,
- Ensure principals and fundamental of services are being followed
Required:
- A 4-year business degree or horticulture/other related field, or equivalent landscaping experience
- A minimum of 5 years of management experience
- A working knowledge of business accounting and P&L statements, plus broad knowledge of horticulture, landscaping equipment and managing a fleet of company vehicles.
Preferred:
- Skills in project and time management, team motivation, decision making and technology (MS Office and costing/estimating packages)
