Malibu Wellness, is seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Production Manager to join our growing team in Indianapolis, Indiana. About the Role:

As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations. You’ll develop strategies, ensure quality, and lead a team to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage production schedules that meet company goals while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures) and safety protocols, fostering a culture of quality throughout the production process.
  • Work closely with departments like Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance and Human Resources to ensure seamless operation and problem-solving across the board.
  • Oversee inventory management, cost control measures, and participate in Bill of Materials (BOM) review and creation.
  • Lead and develop a team of production personnel, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
  • Reviews production goals with team.
  • Reviews assignments and production goals of production employees with direct reports.
  • Conducts time studies of producing new products.
  • Communicates with subcontractors for production needs.
  • Conducts annual employee evaluations.
  • Assists with making order changes in the event of a schedule change as needed.
  • Reviews financial budgets related to the production department.
  • Manages temporary employee timecards.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 3 years of experience in production management.
  • Strong understanding of GMP and quality control principles.
  • Proven track record of implementing and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production goals.
  • Adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing deadlines in fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong computer skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $73,000.00 per year
