What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Baker position at Mama Bev's Bakery?
Mama Bev’s Bakery is looking to hire a FULL TIME or PART TIME Production Baker. Mama Bev’s is a fast pace production bakery located in Hales Corners, specializing in St. Louis Butter Cake. This third family recipe has been in high demand since being introduced to the market. This is a position to grow with us as we expand our operations!
Primary Responsibilities:
- Set oven temperatures, and place items into hot ovens for baking.
- Combine measured ingredients in bowls of mixing, blending, or cooking machinery.
- Proper storage and handling of raw ingredients
- Cleaning and sanitation practices
- Set up, tear down, production/operation, and cleaning of equipment
- Proper maintenance of production and packaging equipment
- Packaging and shipping products
- Loading/unloading ovens
- Properly complete production sheets, location lot numbers, and ensuring final counts
Experience and Requirements:
- Previous baking experience is a plus
- Fast learner with the ability to multitask
- Ability to follow recipes as well as day to day instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Common baking knowledge
- Ability to work as a team to produce quantities for the day
- Basic math skills to follow and understand recipes

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
