What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Operator/Assembler position at MAMMEN AND PEERY, LLC...?
In this role, you will perform low-level maintenance and operation of all production equipment, to include, 3-axis CNC Router, 3D Printer, Laser cutter and engraver. You will be responsible for ensuring high uptime and high-quality prototypes being produced Some of the responsibilities of this role are:
- Staging and storage of raw materials
- Load machines for next build
- Start machines for new or additional builds
- Remove finished build from machines
- Perform preliminary part inspection and some finishing of parts
- Cleaning and prepping of machine for next build
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic Reading & Writing skills
- Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Office & Email)
- Basic Math skills
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Exposure to CAD programs
- Ability to troubleshoot machines if/when they malfunction.
- Working knowledge of laser engraving and cutting
- Working knowledge of 3D Printing
- Ability to identify areas of opportunities, work independently and demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with strong interpersonal skills
- Strong work ethic, including team and goal orientation
- Self-motivated, positive attitude
- Must be willing and able to gain proficiency in all aspects of our production facility
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Stand and/or walk during shifts 8 hours long
- Lift / move up 35 pounds
- Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts 8 hours long (flex and part-time shifts may vary)
- Engage in full manual dexterity in both hands and wrists
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Work with and/or around moving mechanical parts
- Noise level varies and can be loud
- You may be required to cross-train and work in different areas of the operation.
