We are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee and develop commercial contracts related to logistics, heavy lifting, and transport services for Mammoet’s US & Mexico operations. In this role, you will play a key part in advising the business on contract optimization, managing contract administration, and ensuring alignment with Mammoet’s commercial objectives and risk management strategies.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
- Leading complex contract negotiations.
- Managing high-risk contracts.
- Overseeing the full contract life cycle.
- Ensuring smooth transitions between the commercial and operational phases.
- Providing support, advice, and solutions to the sales and operations team on contractual matters including client contracts and subcontracted elements.
- Advising the business to optimize execution and administration of contracts with Mammoet customers and (sub)contractors, to mitigate risk and secure opportunities.
- Support the improvement of customer satisfaction and commercial results.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical, commercial, or commercial legal discipline.
- 6 years of relevant experience in contract management, preferably within logistics, shipping, or related industries.
- Extensive experience working with local and international construction companies, EPCs; wind and oil & gas sectors is highly desirable.
- Proven track record of leading complex contract negotiations and providing strategic contractual advice in a project-driven organization.
- Ability to translate complex contractual risks into clear, comprehensible language.
- A pragmatic, analytical, and creative problem solver with excellent listening skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities, with a nuanced approach to engaging stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
