We are the exclusive distributor of multiple top-10 California cannabis brands including Heavy Hitters, Almora, and other products in the vape, flower, pre-roll, concentrate and edible categories. ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for an Operations Associate to work as a utility player who can step in and assist in various areas of the business. The ideal candidate should have previous operations experience and be comfortable wearing different hats in a constantly changing and evolving industry. Ideally, our Operations Associate will have effective communication skills, a positive and flexible attitude, and strong attention to detail.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE: (EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE)
- High school graduate
- Some college or equivalent work experience
- Manufacturing: 1 year (Preferred)
- Reliable teamwork
- Effective communication
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment, equipment, and practices
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with various deadlines
- Ability to understand and speak basic English
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Own the quality control processes for all Heavy Hitters products and identify/remedy any quality concerns
- Ensure quality control in alignment with Filling and Packaging guidelines
- Ensure that production requirements and quality standards are met consistently
- Make every effort to increase productivity and efficiency without compromising quality
- Uphold all brand standards as set forth in the brand manual
- Use good judgment and maintain confidentiality of all proprietary practices
- Maintain proper inventory levels and complete cycle counts on supplies to ensure we are tracking/reconciling inventory
- Ensure all materials needed to be successful are available without workflow interruption, including cannabis and non-cannabis goods.
- Manually take inventory of stock and recommend restock when par levels are low
- Deliver samples to prospective buyers and drop swag and visual merchandising items off to retailers
- Rotate duties with other teams as needed. Must be cooperative and flexible to perform different roles as requested and required, including but not limited to:
- Fill/package product if urgent needs arise around replenishment
- Assist with last minute pick/pack orders if needed
- Prepare sample boxes to send to prospective buyers
- Be flexible and cooperative to meet changing and unexpected deadlines. This may include, but is not limited to, being willing to work overtime which may not be scheduled or anticipated in advance.
