Technical Support Tier 3 - Systems Administrator

Management Information Systems, Company is a client-focused I.T. Managed Services provider that has been in operation since 1998. Our well-established and growing Technology and Consulting company has serviced the Greater Indianapolis area and nationwide locations, supporting our customers in their technology needs.

We are hiring for a Help Desk Tier 3 position that will support these locations, users, applications, and hardware for our customers. This position will provide room for growth within the company and provide an exciting and ever-changing environment for the tech-centric person we are looking for!

Main Responsibilities:

  • Server and Infrastructure installations and migrations
  • Plan, design and deploy new systems and technologies
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues – desktop, server, and network level
  • Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, e-mail or ticketing system
  • Escalate situations requiring urgent attention appropriately
  • Stay current with system information, changes, and updates – server/application/desktop
  • Ability for on-call coverage for IT Support
  • Malware/ransomware response and monitoring

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Current Microsoft server or server-based application certification required
  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • 5-7 years systems support - Windows 10 and Windows Server 2008-2022
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure - Conditional Access Policies, Intune & Deployment
  • Virtualization experience preferred
  • Physical hardware experience with desktops, servers, laptops, and printers.
  • Experience with Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Knowledge of firewall, routing, switching, and wireless technologies
  • Cisco, VMware, or other related certifications preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
