About the Opportunity:  Our client, a Major US Oil & Energy Company, has an excellent opportunity in its Kansas refinery for a Process Projects Engineer.

What You'll Do:  In this key role, you'll provide front-end engineering & process design support for unit modifications to optimize molecule management, and improve process safety, efficiency, and reliability.

Project size may range from small, single unit modifications to large capital projects involving multiple refinery process units.

This includes developing project economics, driving scoping studies, and working with Engineering to complete decision support packages.

You'll also work closely with business & planning resources to develop business cases and economic drivers. and provide technical support for a variety of process engineering deliverables.

Background Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical Engineering preferred)
• 5 years of process/project engineering experience supporting refinery unit operations
• Skilled in identifying and developing modifications to optimize refinery processes, including generating ideas, developing project economics, and driving scoping studies
• Ability to manage projects is critical.
• Working knowledge of commonly used engineering concepts and the ability to apply this knowledge analytically
