Indianapolis based Human Resources Outsourcing organization is looking for an experienced payroll processor with 3 to 5 years of experience. The Payroll Processor will work independently as well as with a team with other payroll processors. - Processing payroll for multiple locations and will involve collecting hours in a variety of ways, calculating and maintaining payroll data
- Maintaining employee information to include New Hires, Rehires, Terms, Pay rate Changes and Status Changes
- Communicating with clients to assist with payroll input and problem resolution
- Answering questions from employees
- Running periodic reports as needed
- Assist Director of Payroll as needed
- Three to five years' Payroll experience
- Excellent attendance history
- Experience with MS Office products
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of taxable/non-taxable wages, Pretax and after-tax deductions, and payroll fundamentals
- Ability to identify and resolve payroll discrepancies.
- Strong communication, data entry and organizational skills
- Exceptional Customer Service Skills
- Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and work somewhat independently
