General Laborer
Job Title : 2nd shift General Labor / Powder Coating
Job Description : We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible individual to join our team as a General Labor for a local Powder Coating Company 2nd shift
Responsibilities :
Coating Application : Apply electro coating and powder coating to metal automotive parts and assemblies using various techniques, ensuring even coverage and high-quality finish.
Surface Preparation : Clean, degrease, and mask parts before coating to ensure proper adhesion and appearance.
Quality Control : Inspect coated parts for defects, thickness, and adherence to specifications, adjusting as needed.
Color & Finish Matching : Achieve accurate color and finish matching, maintaining visual consistency across parts.
Equipment Operation : Operate electro coating and powder coating equipment, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance.
Assembly Integration : Collaborate with assembly teams to ensure coated parts fit seamlessly into the automotive assembly process.
Process Improvement : Identify opportunities to optimize coating processes, enhance efficiency, and reduce costs.
Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety guidelines, including chemical handling, waste disposal, and ventilation.
Work Schedule and Compensation :
Full-time position with a 2nd shift 5pm-3am Monday through Thursday & Fridays 7a-3p / 3p-11p schedule
Hourly Rate - $ 10.50 hour Plus a Weekly Attendance bonus.
Qualifications and Requirements :
Materials Knowledge : Familiarity with coatings, pretreatment, and masking techniques suitable for metal automotive parts.
Quality Focus : Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Team Collaboration : Willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
