Maintenance Manager

Zanesville Mancan is searching for a Maintenance Manager who will be hands-on in overseeing and executing maintenance activities to ensure efficient operation of equipment, facilities, and utilities. This role will lead by example, working alongside a team of maintenance technicians to minimize downtime and maintain a safe working environment.

Position Details:
• Hands-On Maintenance: Perform and oversee maintenance tasks on equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and work closely with a team of maintenance technicians, providing hands-on guidance and training.
• Equipment Care: Oversee preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Facility Upkeep: Maintain and repair facilities, ensuring a safe and functional environment.
• Budget Oversight: Monitor and manage the maintenance budget, making cost-effective decisions.
• Vendor Coordination: Work directly with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance services.
• Safety Practices: Lead by example in promoting and enforcing safety regulations and practices within the maintenance team.
• Inventory Control: Manage maintenance supplies and equipment, ensuring availability and proper storage.
• Hands-On Approach: A hands-on mentality with a willingness to get involved in maintenance tasks.

Qualities & Attributes:
• Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and work collaboratively with a maintenance team.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Communication: Clear and effective communication skills.
• Experience: Proven hands-on experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and building maintenance.
• Budget Management: Basic knowledge of budget management and cost control.
• Safety Compliance: Familiarity with safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of hands-on maintenance experience, with some leadership or supervisory experience.


Schedule - Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends and evenings as needed.

Pay rate - Based on experience
