Material Handler
Mancan Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated Material Handlers to join our team in New Cumberland WV. As a Material Handler, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes by loading machines with product, operating forklifts, and assisting in the packaging of finished goods.
This is a temp-to-hire position offering opportunities for career advancement within our organization.
Responsibilities :
Load machines with raw materials and supplies as required for production.
Operate forklifts to transport materials and finished products safely and efficiently.
Remove finished products from hoppers and transfer them to trays for packaging.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and productive environment.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment and handling materials.
Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure seamless production operations.
Adhere to production schedules and prioritize tasks to meet production targets.
Maintain accurate records of materials handled and products produced.
Requirements :
Previous experience as a material handler or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate a forklift safely and effectively (forklift certification is a plus).
Dependability and punctuality are essential.
Work Schedule is Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Willingness to work overtime as needed to meet production demands.
Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate loading and packaging.
Physically capable of lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
Compensation :
The starting pay rate for this position is $ per hour.
