What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parts Counter Clerk position at Mancan?
Parts person needed in Grand River.
Rate = $18-$28 / hr (based on skillset)
Hours = 6:00am – 4:00pm (Mon-Thursday) OT as needed
Requirements = We are seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and dedicated individual that has previous parts experience (sales, procurement or inventory control)
PARTS PROCUREMENT, INVENTORY CONTROL
Parts Procurement:
* Strategically procure parts and shop supplies as needed to maintain Service Department
expediency & to provide the best value in the marketplace
* Expedite turnaround of part rebuilds
* Continually look for alternative ways to reduce overall purchasing cost without affecting the
overall expectation of the customer then discuss with Service Department Manager
lnventory Control
* Organize storage area, parts bins, shelving, etc. to ensure efficiency
* Update lnventory Control software
* Maintain minimal levels of stock
* Verify bill of ladings match Purchase Orders
* Review Parts Department invoices - ensure they match purchase price expectations and initial acceptance.
* Keep area clean
