What are the responsibilities and job description for the Trimmer position at Mancan?
Interested in manufacturing work but don’t have any experience? A local company is looking for General Laborers to add to their team in Killbuck and are willing to train! These are full-time, temp-to-perm positions on 1st shift!
As a Trimmer, you will be responsible for trimming rubber parts using a wet saw and performing various tasks to support our production process.
Job Duties:
- Accurately trim rubber parts using a wet saw or other specified equipment.
- Safely and effectively operate the wet saw to achieve precise cuts.
- Be flexible and willing to undertake other assigned tasks to support production needs.
Qualifications:
- Work in a hot and wet environment as part of the trimming process.
- Be physically capable of lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during the work shift.
Drug Screen: Must be able to pass a drug screen as part of the hiring process.
Working Hours and Pay:
Pay: Starting pay rate of $16/HR and will remain at $16/HR upon being hired permanently.
Working Hours: Monday to Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Thursday to Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and every other Saturday from 5:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Benefits (Once Hired Permanently):
Health Insurance: After 60 days of employment, we offer health, dental, and vision insurance, with the company covering 80% of the costs.
401K: After 60 days, you will be eligible for a 401K plan with a company match of up to 4%.
Paid Holidays: After 60 days, you will be eligible for company holidays, with 10 paid holidays per year.
Paid Vacation: After 1 year of service, you will receive 1 week of paid vacation, and after 2 years of service, you will receive 2 weeks of paid vacation.
Attendance Bonus: Eligible for attendance bonus based on punctuality and good attendance.
