We are seeking a motivated Wiring Assembly Technician to join our team in Sunbury on 1st or 2nd shift. The ideal candidate will have the ability to comprehend technical drawings, blueprints, and work-orders, and possess hands-on experience in assembling electronic and mechanical products. As a Wiring Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in producing high-quality products while ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards. Training will be provided on the 1st shift to ensure a seamless transition to the 2nd shift responsibilities.
**Responsibilities:**
- Interpret and understand technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and work-orders to accurately assemble electronic and mechanical products.
- Utilize various tools and equipment, including solder guns, basic hand tools, and microscopes, to perform intricate assembly tasks.
- Perform basic quality inspections to identify and address any defects or discrepancies.
- Work predominantly under a microscope for extended periods to ensure precise assembly and quality control.
- Lift objects weighing up to 25lbs safely and maintain ergonomic practices during manual handling tasks.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets and maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow established processes and guidelines to ensure consistent product quality and compliance with company standards.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by providing suggestions for process enhancements and efficiency improvements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and productivity.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Perform any additional duties or tasks as required by supervisors or team leads.
**Qualifications:**
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to assembly tasks.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, diagrams, and work-orders.
- Hands-on experience in assembling electronic and mechanical products is a plus.
- Familiarity with using solder guns, basic hand tools, and other assembly equipment.
- Ability to perform basic quality inspections and identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Comfortable working under a microscope for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and documentation purposes.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate within a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing tasks and priorities in a fast-paced production setting.
- Physical ability to lift objects up to 25lbs and stand for extended periods.
