Overview:
Manchester School District is looking for School Nurses at all levels. As a school nurse you will promote and maintain the health of school children, their families, and school staff through care, prevention, education, and counseling while establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with professional and medical providers, municipal officials, school officials, clients, and the public.
Responsibilities include maintaining cumulative health records on all students assigned, daily electronic documentation of student encounters, obtaining student health histories, including immunization records to ensure compliance with State laws, administering medication to students as prescribed, performing first aid, health screenings, assessments, and complex medical procedures. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Schedule:
Up to 8 hours per day for the school year, plus additional days to open and close the nurse’s office.
No nights, weekends, or holidays

Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate in Nursing or higher, plus considerable experience in school, pediatric, or general nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire and CPR and First Aid Certification
New Hampshire Department of Education School Nurse Certification or commitment to obtain such within first six months of hire, when required by law for position.
Valid NH Driver’s License
