Job Posting for Trade Development Representative at Mancini Beverage
Mancini Beverage, one of the oldest and most well-established beverage distributors in the Northeast, is looking for an outgoing and organized Trade Development Representative to join our team in the Connecticut territory. As a Trade Development Rep with Mancini Beverage, you will be responsible for promoting our portfolio to our customers across the state and serving as a support network to our ever increasing account base. Accounts will be a combination of On and Off-Premise beverage locations, which includes but is not limited to bars and independent liquor stores. The ideal candidate must have a strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to travel within the state. No specific degree required!

Key Accountabilities and Workstreams:
Work with sales managers, sales representatives, and brand personnel in the planning, development and execution of programs and activities in the on-premise and off -premise exposure.
Implement and ensure the execution of brand standards and objectives at the key account level including distribution, securing drink menus/lists, and account activation
Assist in creating, executing, analyzing, and tracking all on-premise programs
Assist with establishing and tracking sales incentive programs
Assist in the development of monthly business drivers and sales planning activities
Provide analytical support to RID manager and related suppliers
Keep informed of competitive activity in the market and communicate to management through solution based process
Manage time and schedule in order to execute work-withs; for example, working the trade and managing key strategic accounts across the on-premise 3-4 days per week
Establish “Key” account list for executional excellence
Support and participate in the execution of high profile PR/sampling events
Utilize brand expertise to execute trade sampling and staff training/education in the on-premise
Act as liaison to customer base by supporting and assisting their sales and marketing efforts
Assist division managers in setting up trade surveys and participate in the execution of sales and merchandising drives
Utilize and be fluent in the use of industry tools: Diver/driller, Repsly, On Trak, and any other data tools moving forward.
Assist in managing all channel POS
Qualifications and Requirements:
2 years of prior customer facing experience
High school diploma or equivalent; College degree encouraged but not required
Ability to effectively use technology such as smartphone apps, microsoft office (including excel), and email
Ability to lift 25lbs repetitively
Valid Driver’s License
Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
