What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN position at Manhattan Medical Group?
Do you love providing compassionate care to patients? Manhattan Medical Group's Cardiology Clinic, Heart and Vascular Clinic, is searching for an LPN to join our organization. There will be plenty of one on one patient contact for the person who enjoys directly helping patients. You must be comfortable communicating with patients, their families and other medical providers. This person must be able to handle the stressors of healthcare in a private practice. This person must abide by all HIPAA, OIG, OSHA, KSBN regulations.
LPN would be responsible for:
- Rooming patients (Vitals, EKG, ROS, PFSH, Med reconciliation).
- Entering medication, imaging, procedures orders from provider.
- Contacting patients to follow up on new orders.
- Coordinating the provider's schedule.
- Take incoming calls from patients, pharmacies, other healthcare staff.
- Perform tasks delegated by the provider, within the LPN scope of practice.
- Assisting in other areas of the clinic when needed.
