Our Manhattan Office-Based Surgery Practice located on 17th street (b/w 5th and 6th Avenue) is looking for a personable, competent, and hardworking individual to apply for a position as a Perioperative Nurse/Physician Liaison. Major responsibilities will be in the Preoperative and Postoperative areas and collaboration with physicians with regard to patient triage and medication management. An ideal candidate must be positive and energetic, a strong team player, an excellent communicator, able to prioritize multiple tasks. LICENSE:
Registered Nurse (RN) (Required)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performing perioperative assessment when patients arrive for procedures
Performing postoperative assessment and management after anesthesia in PACU
Delivering of office infusions
Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
Collaboration with physicians and staff with regard to patient triage
Collaboration with physicians with regard to medication management
Provide advice and emotional support to patients and their family members
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of 1-year experience in nursing
Ability to build rapport with patients
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
COMPENSATION: $45-$50
