Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Manhattan Strategy Group (MSG), a rapidly growing management and social sciences consulting firm based in Bethesda, MD, is seeking a Communications Associate. MSG provides consulting services across the federal government in the areas of 1) Research & Evaluation, 2) Marketing & Communications, 3) Information Technology, 4) Training & Technical Assistance, and 5) Program Management. Our federal clients include the U.S. Departments of Agriculture, Education, Health and Human Services, Housing and Urban Development, Labor, Treasury, and the National Science Foundation.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Stakeholder Engagement Manager to lead the development and execution of the stakeholder management plan for our program, collaborating closely with the support team and NSF's Convergence Accelerator team. The successful candidate will be pivotal in researching and engaging potential anchor and consortia members, fostering relationships with organizations and individuals to enhance the program's impact.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and implementation of the program's stakeholder management plan.
• Collaborate with the support team and NSF's Convergence Accelerator team to ensure alignment with the statement of work.
• Identify potential anchor and consortia members for regional events.
• Engage with organizations and individuals within the scientific and technological research and development community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and project management.
• Bachelor's degree in communications, political science, or equivalent education.
• Familiarity with the scientific and technological research and development community.
• Knowledge of critical stakeholders, including researchers, innovators, and investors.
• Communication Skills:
• Proven effective communication skills for collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to represent the Convergence Accelerator program and connect with stakeholders in the R&D community.
• Proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to solve problems effectively.
• Experience in innovation and research and development (R&D) programs.
• Skills and experience in project management and reporting.
• Ability to contribute to strategic planning, project progress assessments, and market intelligence efforts.
• Strong multitasking abilities, capable of simultaneously managing multiple tasks, communication efforts, and events at various stages.
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office tools for efficient task management.
