Medical Insurance Billing Specialist

Manlove Brain and Body Health is looking for multiple insurance and patient remittance specialists. These are full time positions. Primary duties include processing patients’ insurance remittance, working aging accounts, research coding, claim submission, credentialing healthcare providers with insurance companies.

Our business office and the work location is in Rapid City, SD.

The position will handle billing for two psychiatric offices; Manlove Brain and Body Health located in Rapid City and Advanced Brain and Body Clinic in Minneapolis, MN.

We believe that what is good for the body is good for the brain. To this end we utilize traditional psychopharmacology combined with extensive laboratory testing, genetic testing, and lifestyle modification to maximize brain and overall body health. We specialize in treatment resistant depression and offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (rTMS) as well as ketamine therapies. We are continually growing and researching new ways to help our patients.

Successful candidates will have 3 years of claim billing, and insurance and patient remittance processing. Applicants must have experience processing electronic claims, paper, and electronic remittance, utilizing EMR systems, familiarity with multiple insurance companies and the credentialling processes. A work history in the medical field of mental health is preferred. Successful experience processing claims, remittance, and credentialing in the state of Minnesota would be greatly preferred.

Requirements:

• Experience billing and processing insurance remittance, both electronic and paper
• Experience with EMR systems
• Insurance credentialing experience
• Office 365- Teams, Outlook, Excel and Word
• Great attention to detail and accuracy
• Possess an optimistic, friendly, enjoy working hard and up for a challenge attitude!

Preferences:

• 3 years’ or more of experience billing and processing insurance remittance, both electronic and paper
• Associate or higher education
• Work history in the mental health field
• Work experience in the medical billing/ remittance/ credentialing field in the state of Minnesota

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
