What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Manly Memorial Baptist Church?
The Position
MMBC seeks applicants for the position of Administrative Assistant from 8:30am to 2:30pm. (Precise start and end times may be slightly negotiated for a suitable candidate’s needs.)
Duties will include church communications (worship bulletin, worship slides, sign up sheets, weekly newsletters, etc) serving as a receptionist for the pastor, serving church committees and ministry leaders with administrative needs, and all that which emerges in the day to day operations of the church. We are looking for someone with strong people skills, organizational skills, and who will solve problems and care for the overall well-being of the ministry. At least an associate’s degree, as well as software experience, is preferred. If not currently proficient, the Ministry Assistant will be trained in the following software applications: Microsoft 365, Mailchimp, and Canva.
Compensation
Compensation is $15 hourly, 30 hours a week. Up to two weeks of time off for vacation can be arranged at the convenience of the employee and the church.
