Main Tasks
- Manage production orders and schedules to acceptable on Time in Full and Production Efficiency Targets
- Review intercompany plant needs and transfer product as needed
- Participate in cross functional team meetings for problem solving and continuous improvement
- Provide support to product line supervisors to ensure acceptable customer service levels and manage the priorities of the Allen Plant
- Monitor production delivery performance and escalate issues when necessary to resolve
- Practice good housekeeping habits in work area and throughout the facility
- Manage and/or participate in new product introductions and product changes to ensure on-time introduction
- Visually review material inventory at production lines, assist in cycle counting, quick counting and physical inventory
- Walk production lines to check run problems and scheduling issues
- Manage SAP data for accuracy, maintenance work orders as necessary to keep system accurate and manage exceptions to an acceptable level
- Review production lines for capacity constraints, review demand for short and mid-term constraints, and participate in bank-building calculations
Education:
- High School Diploma, or GED
- 2 years' experience in production planning in a complex manufacturing environment
- Knowledgeable with ERP/MRP Systems
- Microsoft Office tools
- Ability to analyze data and make decisions based on data
- Ability to work a flexible schedule (overtime when needed) to support the needs of the plant
- Effective English written and verbal communication
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline
- APICS certification or training
- Experience with SAP MRP/ERP System
Salary : $57,600 - $72,900
