Our client, an international engineering construction company, is seeking a Sr Buyer (MEP) to join their team. As a Sr Buyer, you will be part of the Supply Chain supporting Engineering and specifically subvendor labor sourcing and contract management for finishing work such as drywall and painting for cleanroom construction projects.
The ideal candidate will have strong intercommunications skills and subcontracts management skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Phoenix, AZ
Pay Range : $90,000-$100,000K plus benefits and relocation
What’s the Job?
- Construction labor sourcing and procurement skills for construction
- Experience with handling bid process for construction finishing labor subcontracts
- Experience with assessing, negotiating and awarding subcontracts for electrical labor subcontracts
- Experience managing labor subcontracting firms and offboarding
What’s Needed?
- BA / BS in Supply Chain or related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years' experience in purchasing, negotiating and subcontracts management for large scale commercial construction, MEP projects with heavy experience with construction finishing labor contracts; semiconductor a strong plus!
- Experience managing subcontract vendors including strong negotiation skills
