Job Title: Electrical Systems Engineer
Location: Beaumont or Port Arthur, TX
Pay: $65 - $85 /hr depending on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a project manager or proposal manager on small, electrical and instrumentation projects
- Lead electrical and instrumentation projects and/or maintenance work to ensure compliance with the national electrical code and site permits.
- Participate in the development of project design concepts and criteria
- Provide and modify instrument and electrical drawings as needed
- Prepare electrical and instrumentation estimates for projects
- 3-5 year's experience
- Petrochemical, O&G, pulp/paper, or industrial background
- AutoCAD and RF Flow or similar experience
- Working knowledge of pumps, rotating equipment, some switchgear, modifying or creating new drawings for upgrades, additions, modifications, and 120-480V
- 3-4 month contract with potential of extending
