Education and Experience Requirements
- Technician in Inventory management, logistics, industrial processes, warehouse, logistic processes.

Mission of the Position:
Ensure the data and reliability of the inventory for the finished product, inputs and raw materials in the Logistics centers, by applying inventory policies and safety procedures (no accidents – BASC), controlling that physical and logical movements are carried out online to ensure that the quality of the information in the system matches the physical inventory, thus achieving the satisfaction of internal and external customers (service, costs). Control the inventory levels of materials of the logistics processes of receipt, dispatch, storage/supply and related activities, through the correct operation of warehouse management systems, through data assurance and inventory reliability for the finished product, inputs and raw materials in Ashland distribution center
Primary Roles and Responsibilities
- Maintain Inventory controls, perform cycle counts and yearly audited inventories to have the inventory accuracy at the maximum level possible according to the organization standards.
- Keep up to date the ERP data and provide on time KPIs, reports and statistics to provide value added data to support business decisions to simplify and optimize the operation (freight negotiations, shipping policies, processes simplification, head count balanced, etc)
- Analyze differences in the cross-referencing of SAP – WMS inventories. (correct differences, root cause and process improvement analysis and work with different teams to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented to improve inventory accuracy)
- Ensure compliance with the procedures of the OMS (operation Management System (ISO-CTPAT or BASC), Industrial OMS y 5´s
- Control and secure the physical and logical inventory through the defined systems.
- Debugging transits
- Real adjustments, breaks generated by the center.
- Generate cyclical coverage reports and monitor compliance with it.
- Attend to requirements for planning, release of products for order allocation.
- Monitor virtual locations.
- Validate that the news reported by the center is being managed.
- Carry out traceability to export novelties.
- Generate reports: monthly management indicator, general indicators. (KPIs)
- Generate blocked and held reports.
- Management of new developments in postponement (inventory differences).
- Fill out the report of operational errors in the receiving, storage and preparation processes.
- Support in the absence of the operations coordinator (operation support.)
- Perform supervisory counts (validated with the Inventory analyst)
- Carry out the retentions and releases of materials requested from the quality area.
- Sending samples of imported products for testing and requesting adjustments as appropriate.
- Receipt of design returns and transfers between warehouses.
- Management of supply reserves for the plant (Contingencies).
- Swap adjustments for return reports. (What's new in customers).
- Carry out traceability for shipments that present novelty (national, export and urban markets)
- Release of locks for planning. According to specific needs.
- Operation support (differences in missing and surplus inventories).
- What's new in dispatches, create manual shipments in CMS Epicor / WMS.
- Packaging management for product in repackaging, inventory availability (SAP) for invoicing.
- Creating Tags.
- Yearly inventory
- Support logistic coordinators – back up on sick/holiday leave.
- Miscellaneous reporting requests.
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
- Know and comply with the OSH Policy and standards, guaranteeing the comprehensive care of your health and safety, through the reporting of unsafe and health conditions, incidents and accidents that may affect your work.
Skills and Knowledge
- Inventory management in distribution centers minimum 2 years
- Computer literacy: Use computers, SW and related technology efficiently (Microsoft Office Email, Excel, Word, Power Point, Teams, One Drive, etc).
- Proficiency in other Logistic SW applications/Hardware: . CMS Epicor / SAP ERP / Logistic Sw knowledge (WMS, TMS, etc) handheld, scanners, etc. Is a plus.
- Spanish is a plus
Able to travel in the USA and Internationally.
