ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Capture Manager to join our Defense Sales team.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
- Overall responsibility for development and implementation of the Capture Plan through all phases of the proposal development process through award for assigned opportunities
- Establishes and maintains customer intelligence and rapport; understands the customers' mission, budgets, and buying patterns for assigned capture opportunities working jointly with account executives
- Manages all aspects of capture activities to ensure completion and improve PWin; e.g., solution development, teaming, staffing, PTW, capability gap analysis, etc. for assigned opportunities
- Establishes a schedule to accomplish required capture activities between Gates
- Identifies company investment needs; e.g. facilities, key hires, capital expenditure requirements (managed services), etc.
- Develops, in concert with Division Mangers and presents Gate Reviews at bid board for Division Manager and Vice President of Sales approval on Tier 2 Opportunities
- Develops capture/win strategy and works with Proposal Team to ensure proposals incorporate the capture strategy and pricing targets
- For RFI and White Papers, apply ManTech capabilities, secure line resources to support, shape RFP and schedule Production Operations support prior to submission
- Identifies bid key personnel and validate at RFP release
- Identifies Past Performance candidates and validates at RFP release
- Secures line resources for capture support
- Provides assigned Proposal Manager with all capture material and works as a team to develop a winning bid
- Supports proposal color teams as a reviewer
- Conduct win/loss analysis including capture process improvements for assigned opportunities
Position requirements:
- BA/BS degree
- Government project management experience is desired.
- Must be a strategic thinker, with the ability to create and execute strategies that lead to the successful pursuit, capture and execution of new programs.
- Must have experience working with multiple government agencies including agencies within the Department of Defense.
- Must have a demonstrated ability to interact at senior levels of business and the government; coordinates a team that includes business development, contract, pricing and technical leads.
- A multi-discipline performance record in business development, capture, and execution is desired.
- Capture Management training is desired.
- Flexibility to work in multiple locations in Northern VA and Maryland area offices
- Ability to work well remotely via teleworking as well as within the ManTech offices or at client sites, as needed.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- An active DoD Secret clearance is preferred but not required
The projected compensation range for this position is $150,400-$6,426. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it's employees beyond just compensation.
