Secure our Nation, Ignite your FutureManTech is seeking a Senior Systems Analyst/ALRE Functional Area Planning and Material Support Assistant.The role of the ALRE Functional Area Planning and Material Support Assistant will provide support services to the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH, Execution and Planning Teams. The individual will assist in: coordinating the development of the ALRE work package with the SUPSHIP Newport News RCOH Maintenance Planning Manager (MPM); this will include integration of all modernization, repairs and services work; areas of concern include catapults, arresting gear, flight deck, and their supporting systems. The individual will also maintain close contact with numerous programmatic and technical organizations during work package development and project execution; these include, but are not limited to, SUPSHIP Newport News, NAVAIR, VRT, CAFSU, MPM, Project Team members and support organizations, CET, Program Office PMS312, System Commands, ISEAs, PARMs, and ship's force.Duties and Responsibilities:Assist in reviewing and analyzing the shipbuilder's submittal of the RCOH CDRL deliverable of the Advanced Material Procurement Plan (AMPP) and provide an analysis of appropriateness for material types and quantity as presented in the AMPP to the SUPSHIPNN Project Team, PMS 312 APM and NAVAIR, as it relates to the Authorized Work Package (AWP). Assist in providing NAVSUP/DLA with forecast for RCOH material requirements. Monitor shipbuilder's material procurement for the following attributes: timely ordering, material quantity validation, and budget analyses. Assist in the review and evaluation of Cost Data Sheets. Attend meetings as required with Government and shipyard project teams to monitor status of AWP development, advanced material procurement, and participate in ALRE Integrated Process Team. Assist in the review of shipbuilder provided data for periodic RCOH advanced planning technical instruction reconciliations and provide analysis and recommendations to the SUPSHIPNN Project Team, NAVAIR and PMS 312 APM. One must have good interpersonal, problem-solving, analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills. Ability to follow directions is a must. Applicants must be able to technical efforts under the Aviation IPT area of responsibility, work independently and as part of a team, and manage multiple complex tasks concurrently.Qualifications(Requirement) Minimum of 10 years’ experience with CVN aviation systems.(Requirement) Strong written and verbal communication skills(Requirement) US Citizen with Active DoD Secret Clearance(Desire) Former US Navy Chief Petty Officer, Chief Warrant Officer, or Limited Duty Officer(Desire) Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university(Desire) Experience working with or at a shipyard, Naval Surface/Undersea Warfare Center (NSWC/NUWC), Supervisor of Shipbuilding Command (SUPSHIP), Regional Maintenance Center (RMC), and/or Type Commander (TYCOM) supporting construction, operation, maintenance, modernization, and/or repair of shipboard Aircraft Launch and Recovery Equipment (ALRE), Visual Landing Aids (VLA) and Aircraft Intermediate Maintenance Department (AIMD) and other related systems.For all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
