At ManTech International Corporation, you’ll help protect our national security while working on innovative projects that offer opportunities for advancement.Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Test & Evaluation Engineer IV to join our team at the Aberdeen Proving Grounds, Aberdeen, MD.The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV is responsible for understanding DoD 5000 requirements documentation (e.g., Initial Capabilities Document (ICD), Capabilities Development Document (CDD), Capabilities Production Document (CPD)); Integrated Logistics Support Plan (ILSP), Test and Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), and Acquisition Program Baseline (APB); and other applicable program documents as required. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV reviews and comments on Reliability, Maintainability, and Availability (RMA) parameters and specifications related to whether they are appropriate for the system being procured across the acquisition cycle and whether they are testable and measurable. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV develops and provides briefings to the Integrated Product Team (IPT) and others, recommending an operational test strategy, what operational events should be conducted during each acquisition phase, and why those events are necessary to reduce risk (cost, schedule, or performance) to the program. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV develops modifications to the TEMP that address the approved operational test strategy. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV determines Critical Operational Issue (COI), Measure(s) of Effectiveness (MOE), Measure(s) of Suitability (MOS), and Measure(s) of Performance (MOP), and the recourses required to plan, perform, analyze, and report on operational events during all acquisition phases. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV develops solutions to calibration systems problems to perform data analysis and develops and uses data processing tools. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV provides engineering leadership and oversight for software testing. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV interfaces with customers to understand test objectives, develop test strategies, and collect and analyze data to satisfy customer needs. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV develops efficiency improvement actions (including test automation and lights-out testing strategies) and maintains test systems software and operational databases. The Test & Evaluation Engineer IV supervises and mentors subordinate project and Team ManTech staff.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in STEM field.7 years of position-relevant work experience.Experience with probability and statistics.Experience with T&E event development, management, data validation and verification, and reporting.Experience with developing Test Plans, including test use cases and reports.Experience with software testing.Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.Recent and relevant technical experience in DoD T&E activities.DoD 5000 series familiarity.Desired QualificationsMaster's degree in STEM field.Certified T&E Professional (CTEP).Security RequirementsTS/SCIPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.Frequently communicates with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations.
