Accounting Technician

MAP seeks to hire an Accounting Technician to join its Oklahoma City office. This position will report directly to the Accounting & Reporting Supervisor.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Two (2) plus years general accounting experience
• Strong computer skills, including advanced experience with Excel
• Problem-solver and works independently
• Excellent organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Experience in oil & gas industry preferred, but not required

Essential Job Functions:

• Record oil and gas royalty revenue check details received from payors accurately and on time
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and revenue reports as needed
• Verify royalty revenue activities as requested by the Revenue Supervisor
• Provide support to Revenue Supervisor for audit and tax work as requested
• Provide support to Revenue Supervisor to achieve Accounting Team’s goals
